.ASC FILE - 03/06/17 02:57 PM

Was there a change in how Cadworx 2017 handles ".asc" files. The Cadworx 2016 machines are still able to Isogen the edited symbols but my Cadworx 2017 machines are spitting out blank symbols. They are both pointing to the same iconfig path and using the exact files just different versions?

~going mad here...

Let me try to explain further. We are running ACAD 2016 with Cadworx 2017. The ".asc" file, with the company symbols, was created back in the project manager days and we have used that same file for every CadWorx rollout since. Now when we switched from project manager to iconfig back in 2015 it has been successfully used in the Drawing Manger - Input location. Until now, somehow with Cadworx 2017 rollout our machines have lost the capability to use this ".asc" file. I fired up a couple of our older workstations that did not get the 2017 upgrade and opened up the same drawing drawn in Cadworx 2017 and the older workstations seem to ISO out the proper symbols using the same iconfig information. Anyone else having this issue?

So this is workstation specific and not style specific ?

Try cleaning out the %temp% folder. I once had an OPL file stuck there somehow...

I've escalated this to Intergraph and it appears to be a head scratcher on there end as well. Still waiting on their solution. Thanks Vanman
