\SYSTEM Directory in 5.3? - UMAT1.UMD - 06/24/11 05:31 AM

I have a umat1.bin file from a prior version of C2 (we're now using 5.3). So I go to find the \System directory so I can copy it into it, renaming it umat1.umd, but there is no \System folder. It's not hidden. Ideas?

I tried creating a directory named "System" and placing the file in it but the materials I was after didn't display in the material drop down box on the C2 input screen, even after I closed C2 and re-launched it.

Try with below path, it may work.

C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\COADE, Inc\CAESAR II\5.20\system

Hope you will find your required directory.

Note that the above path is valid only for Windows XP. For Vista and Win7 you want this:

c:\program data\COADE, Inc\CAESAR II\5.20\system

Also note that as of Version 5.30 "COADE, Inc" has changed to "Intergraph CAS".
