Carrying Over P/T Cases

Carrying Over P/T Cases - 06/12/11 03:56 PM

Hi:

Is there a way to set up a new Pressure/Temp Case in Version 5.10 by copying pasting one of the previous cases. I want to set up a case 5 which is very similar to Case 1 but with minor editions. My system is complicated and I want to avoid filling out all the P/T data again.

In Autopipe you can copy the P/T data in the spreadsheet to carry over to a new case. Is something like this possible in Caesar?

Thanks

If you're talking about copying a load case in the Static Load Case Editor - yes. Just swipe the string, [Crtl+C], then [Crtl+V].

No. I m talking about definig the pressure / temperatures. I want to analyse a new bypass case where most temp / pressure of the system are same as case 1 except the Bypass lines pressure / temperatures.

I looked in the load case editor. I don't think you can define(fill in) the P/T data there? thanks

No, you have to define the temperatures and pressures in the input. All you should have to do is define the new T and P wherever they change.
