Creating Isometric using existing style - 05/24/11 05:39 AM

I have copied an existing folder which was used and change the folder name. When i tried to use it for the a project, the program said "Invalid Isometric Directory".
Any comments on why i got this error ?

You have to use I-Configure first in order to "Connect to existing iso directory"

Thank you dan. Our IT insist that I-Configure is not part of CAESAR II installation and they refused to fix the problem i have with it, they don't understand why i need it.
When i try to open it i get the following error:
"Error setting up tree view of Isometric directories.
Error Number 429.
ActiveX component can't create object.
Terminating application."

Any thoughts how to fix it? (I'm working in Vertual Machine environment unfortunately).

It is in the Caesar menu.

I know where it is, the problem is that when i click on it, in the menu, the error i mentioned above pops up. Have you encountered this problem before?

I know, my idea was that you can show this to your IT. It is a third party module but come with Caesar.

So it is better that your IT work with Coade in order to solve your problem, specially that you have a Virtual machine installation.

I show them this menu and they ask me to show them a written proof in CAESAR documents saying it's part of CAESAR installation and there isn't one (I know it and they know it). We have a bit of a mind war between.
Anyhow thank you very much for the idea.

This is page 3-11 from 5.3 User guide.
Moreover, file i-configure.exe is on the Caesar CD and if Caesar is installed, this file will be installed in one Caesar subfolder by the Caesar installer.

You can copied the existing folder and used it w/out changing the folder name, but you should modify in the I-Configure by browsing the folder you had copied so that the path of your Isometric Directory will be correct.

Hope it will helped!
