CADPIPE .UDE File Transfer - 03/16/11 04:45 PM

Hello All,

I am having trouble transferring CADPIPE .UDE files into CII through the external interface. In the technical reference manual it states that "The CADPIPE neutral file must be transferred into the CAESAR II directory so that it is available to the interface program." I have tried placing the .UDE files in different locations in the given directory, but continually receive an error message from the external interface indicating that the file is not found. Where in the CII directory do the .UDE files need to be placed for the interface program?

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thank you.

First you should open a caesar file from the main menu (you do not have to enter into piping input). This will make Caesar to consider this folder as the curent working folder. In this folder you can place also your .ude file

If you want to start working in a new directory (without existing c2 files), use the "File\Set Data Directory" option on the Main Menu. You can then use the Configuration Module and set this new directory up as needed.
