Dear all,

Pressure Effects
Design pressure shall be used for longitudinal and hoop stress calculations. For flanged or clamped joints, the Design pressure shall be used. The impact pressure stiffening and pressure elongation shall be considered for high pressure pipe work (600# rating and above).

can someone explain in briefly how we considered in analysis?.plz

It means that pressure stiffening is always considered in CAESAR II from version 5.1 to 5.3 or say it is default in the software.
