How to force a VSH to turn into CSH

How to force a VSH to turn into CSH - 03/10/11 04:31 PM

Dear All,

I am using up to date Caesar II 5.20 & having a strange problem, which I have never seen before.
Though I am putting 0% "Allowable Load Varition" in the piping input table, hanger table (output) is showing a certain value of Load variation. Also, in some node points, load variation is exceeding 25%.
Same thing is happening even though I am putting 0% allowable load variation in "Hanger Design Control Data".
So the thing is that, I can't force a VSH to turn into CSH.
Can anyone please help me in this issue.

Thanks & Regards
Kay

Just a wild guess here, but maybe Zero means "no data". Try changing that to 1% and see if that works.

Dear Richard,

I tried that to, but result is same. Frankly to speak, only one node (VSH) is making problem out of 9 nodes (VSHs). Also, I redefined those nodes & VSHs but no changes in the output.

Send the model in to TechSupport so we can look at it.
