Lift-off 0.3 mm (very less)?????? - 02/15/11 10:28 PM

Hi,

How do you think about the lifting of pipe 0.3 mm which is showing in the result. My problem is that loading at this point is zero but some amount of load is transferred to next support.

I think the actual 0.3 mm lift-off is not realisitic because of piping flexible will push pipe resting down onto pipe support. Especially, if there is spring support closed to this support, it will impact to spring design. Load on spring shall be increased or over design.

How can we consider or correct this case.

Thanks.
