Number of Cuts in Miter Bend

Number of Cuts in Miter Bend - 02/10/11 12:35 AM

Hi,

The Technical Reference Manual states that "when the users enters a valid mitered bend node number, Caesar II tells the user if the mitered bend input is closely or widely spaced."

My question here is whether the no. of miter points entered is considered as invalid if Caesar II does not tell if the bend is closely or widely spaced.

Thanks and regards,

Steve

Actually you only receive the (message) note if the miter is widely spaced.

If miter cut=1, c2 considers it widely spaced and you run the individual cut lengths as pipe.
If miter cut > 1, you are indicating closely spaced and, as Rich says, you will get a warning if the cuts are too far apart.
Be sure to properly set your effective "bend" radius.
