Hi,

Can any one tell me,in expansion loops can we provide limit stop?

Because the project i am working on,client suggested to give limit stop in every expansion loop whatever will be temp.

please reply.

maybe you should detail your querry:

- it is about limit stops in between the loops
or
- it is about limit stops on loops legs

pending on this, the answer will be different.

Normally not and as a general rule should not be placed on loop legs as these serve to other purpose.

I personally did not used, but there are some special cases (e.g. slug) when I was told that it was the only solution. However special care to the gaps on the stops as the support rotate.

You can use the limit stops with generous gaps to ensure that the loop still performs its function but at the same time to prevent pipe falling of the supports.
