You don't really duplicate around a point. You're duplicating a group of elements. The resulting set of elements (both original and duplicated) may or may not be connected - depending on the node numbers and the node increment you used for the duplcate operation. If the two sets of elements are not connected, they will both plot starting at the plot origin, which is the first node in the model. (This is why it may appear the duplication was about some undesired point.) When this happens, you typically need to change one node number in the duplicated set of elements to reconnect the model.

I could not find a tutorial that didn't work. Can you provide the exact name so I can verify this?

Well i was referring to inbuilt CAESAR 5.10 Animated tutorials . In that there is one tutorial named "Graphical input" which contain following

"This video shows how to build a model completely in graphics mode. Usage of element duplication, databases, and pipe component definitions are also included. 11 min 56 sec". All animated tutorial works fine except this .

I am finding great difficulty in executing duplicate option.

Do you have some tutorial which give inside how to use duplicate command correctly???
