Why would you want a 'special' linestop ? Are you dealing with a very large load ?

Hello Moverz...Just being curios on how design a linestop, sort of shoe and directional anchor using the FEA...What are the considerations on how to perform FE analysis due to impact load..Is it a sort of a dynamic analysis?....Just like a car hitting a pole?...Cheers...

Seems to me that you are aiming to do a non-linear FEA ? That can be complex and will require expensive software.
If you can come up with a static equivalent load, you can use FE-Pipe for example.
