Large Rotation Error in Expansion Joint?

Hello all!!! How do we approach the large rotation error, relative rigidity error and pressure thrust error in expansion joint? I mean how can we verify the such error exist mathematically ? or any other means?...Your help is highly appreciated!!! Cheers to all Stressers!!!!
