CADWorx Steel to CAESAR II STRUCTURE

Hi,
Iam facing a problem in interface between CADWorx steel to CAESAR II STRUCTURE.

The below steps are I followed.
After completing my model in CADWorx steel ,I Saved the steel file as (.st)file.

If I open the str file in CAESAR II means it shows a msg ie) NEED COMPLIED STRUCTURE FILE (.X) TO PLOT.

Any one help me how to Open cadworx modex in C2.

Where are you opening the model in c2: the piping input or the strucutral input?

When you save a structural model in the "structural steel input module", c2 creates a number of files, one of them being the _X file that is needed to plot the steel in the piping model. If you haven't opened and saved the structural model (in the Structural Input), then there is no _X file, hence the message.

I opened in C2 structurals.

My model is created by using cadworx steel ,I want to open cadworx model in C2 Structural.

My cadworx steel model file extension is .str.

please advise.

In the Structural Modeler, use the "File Open" dialog. When the dialog opens, at the bottom is a "drop list", change the extension from "c2s" to "str".
