Analysis of Flare Line

Hi all..

I'm obliged if anyone could tell me what all cautions are to be taken while analysing a Flare Line.

Do we need to calculate the slug force ( considering density of water for worse case scenario)and enter the same at the bends for the restraints.


It would be very helpful if any of you could mail me a copy of the paper by Carucci & Mueller, the paper by Francis and MTD guideline
