Flat faced flanges with full face gaskets

How does the flange leakage module handle flat faced flanges with full face gaskets? (This seems to be outside ASME VIII Div 1)

I notice that an additional row in the output is generated called 'Full Faced Gaskets'. What is this checking exactly?

It doesn't matter. The "leakage model" is a simple slice through the flange, modeling it as a cantilever. (You can read about the theory and assumptions in the Oct 1991 issue of our newsletter, available on this website.) The flange dimensions (thicknesses) are used as the thickness of the cantilever, and the gasket and bolt are springs. (This is not an overly sophisticated modeling technique.)
