Good morning Sirs,
I need some information as regards buried pipe, please.
In the isometric below, nodes from 300 to 330 are buried:
Analysis complies ASME B31.3 code but bend node 320 displacement along x axis (positive) is greater than yield displacement.
Is it a problem?
If yes, why?
After I perform analysis of the buried pipe job, have I to verify anything that regards axial and transversal stiffness and ultimate load?
With following soil properties axial stiffness is zero, is it possible?
