Why does my Graphic reset on editing pipe

If i'm zoomed in or rotated on the grpahic to locate a specific area, then I edit a pipe like by adding a restraint, the graphic always resets to its default view. Is there any way to change this?

Pull down the "Environment" menu and toggle the setting for "Reset view on Refresh".
