+WAV results in zero stresses

I'm guessing this is something simple- I am designing a subsea structure, I have been running the model and obtaining the results ok however when I add the wave load (W+T1+P1+WAV1, for example) all of my stresses except hoop stress end up being zero (the hoop stress is correct for depth,pressure wt etc). Has anyone come across this before?? Thanks.
