Caesar II - Installing Updates

I am currently running 5.10.00 build 070917. When I try to use the "check for updates" feature, I get a proxy error. Likely something related to our network permissions.

So, instead I go to the coade website and manually download the 090206 build. There is no setup file, or installation instructions; is it sufficient to copy these files into the Caesar II installation location and respective sub-folders (i.e.: C:\Program Files\COADE\CAESAR II 5.10\etc.) or are there additional steps that I am required to take?

Any insight would be appreciated.

Your question belongs in a different thread. Search this forum for "Isogen", there are a number of posts on this subject. If you can't resolve the issue, we need to know "what" error you're getting.

Exactly, just copy the files into the program directory (I think they all go there?). You can extract them to a clean temporary directory and then move them so that you know you're replacing files. If you have issues, e-mail techsupport@coade.com.

then i tried again load the netuserdll.dll file now i got this type of error

Hi SUBBAIYAN,

You may need two files on your machine,

MSCOMCTL.OCX - Microsoft common controls
MSFLXGRD.OCX - Microsoft FlexGrid control

Those files should be available if you install full version of CAESAR 5.10 successfully.
