Please use the search function in this forum, this is discussed many times. It is not possible to open a v5.1 file in v4.5.

I don't know about opening v5.1 files using v4.5, but, from using v5.0 yes you can open the files but it is not an easy task (editing text in the nuetral file) specially for large files...
Search this forum, and you can see the details.
