like to see ability to global change on friction.
(column duplication or otherwise)
For buried or long models , seeing the effect of a change in friction is a pain to manually edit each... even in table mode.
any other support for this enhancement

This ability is available in both Versions 4.40 & 4.50 (and later). From the Static Load Case Editor, click on the Load Case Options tab. When the dialog displays, move the horizontal slider to the right, to find the Friction Multiplier column. This multiplier is used directly on the friction coefficient of each restraint. Therefore:

- a value of 1.0 uses the specified value of mu,
- a value of 0.0 eliminates friction,
- a value of 0.75 reduces mu by 25%,
- a value of 1.25 increases mu by 25%.

This capability is discussed in one of the Usage Tips articles on CAESAR II on this site. You can get there by clicking here , or by clicking on Techncial Articles, then CAESAR II, then on "Tips Vol 3".
