How to change co-ordinates in Caesar-II - 08/01/08 10:03 AM

I have analysed a piping system, in which Y is up and X is towards North. The model is fine and passed ok. But as per requirement, I have to build the Caesar model so that Z cordinate should be Up and Y co-ordinate towards North. My model consists of more than 400 elements. At this point it is very difficult to model again in which I have to make Z upward. Can anybody tell how can I convert my present caesar model from Y up to Z cordinate Upward or how can I make convert as per my requirement with very little changes.

Go to the "Special Execution Options" dialog and check the checkbox for "Z-Up".

Thanks Rich.

I have tried this and found Z is now upward, but X co-ordinate is towards North instead of Y co-ordinate. Is there any way to make Y co-ordinate towards North and X towards East side ?

Grab the whole model (in the Element List) and rotate it about the vertical.
