Navigate to the \caesar program folder. Then (assuming you have Admin Rights), double click on the "netuserc2.bat" file. This will re-register all of the required ISOGEN DLLs (assuming you have Admin Rights).

If you still have problems, search this forum for "ISOGEN" and/or send an e-mail to techsupport@coade.com.

solution for this problem is not to only run NetUserC2.bat file from caesar ii folder. You need to open NetUserC2 file and paste dll files wich should be registred.

Just continue existing regsrv32 lines save the file, run it.

REGSVR32 /s projectmanager.dll
REGSVR32 /s pisogen.dll
REGSVR32 /s pod.dll
REGSVR32 /s ImportExport.dll
REGSVR32 /s MaterialData.dll
REGSVR32 /s pipeline.dll

I tried to use the stressiso generator for the first time today.
Got the project manager creation failed error and thus clicked the netuserc2.bat file. That didn't work. After that I added the files mentioned above and re-run the netuserc2 file and re-started my PC. Still I get the same error message.
Anybody knowns what could be the problem?

Go back and change the batch file, removing the "/s" - which means "silent". Now when you perform the registration action, is the resulting message 'success' or 'failure' ?

All were OK, except pcfdll.dll, which can not be found. That file can also not be found using windows search function.

PCFDLL.dll doesn't exist any more (as of Version 5.10).

DLL registration is almost always the solution to this problem. Did you by chance install any other ALIAS products after c2 was installed on this machine?

We use the alias isogen in combination with Plant4D (sort of CadWorx) too. As I don't use Plant4D on my machine, but as it is installed it could be possible that the IT-dep has changed something for the Plant4D isogen that interferes with CII isogen?
I'll check if the Plant4D isogen works as soon as I'm in the office tomorrow morning (dutch time). Don't know if that is information that helps you?

One of the issues here is that (until perhaps late this year), you can only have one Alias ISOGEN installation per machine. So if you install c2, and then later install product "X" (which also installs ISOGEN), you just broke c2.

There isn't anything we (COADE, Inc.)can do about this. Alias is working on the problem and the next version of their products should not suffer from this.

I'll check if the other isogen is (re-)installed after the CII V5.1 installation.
Is there a way to solve this problem (if the other program doesn't work anymore that's no problem for me)? I guess de-installing isogen completely and re-install CII?

Actually you want to un-install c2, delete any remnants of the program directory, then reinstall c2. Following this, run that batch file again to register the ISOGEN DLLs.

(Note that this will break any other Alias product you have on your machine. The rule is "the last one installed wins".)

I need to use ISOGEN, and I'm prompted for the same message "Project manager creation failed".

I tried re-registering dlls after re-installing CAESAR (5.10), but it's still not working.

Any other solutions ?

The answer is already said. If it still doesn't work after the dll registration, you need to check your machine and uninstall other products thich use the isogen components. If you install CAESAR II 5.10 correctly on a clean machine, you should have no problem to run ISOGEN and generate the isometric drawings.
