Problem with output of operating stress - 04/04/08 04:30 AM

Dear all,

When I want to get stress summary in operating condition of any piping system its says that "NO CODE STRESS CHECK PROCESSED" and output like this for a typical CAESAR file.

CASE 1 (OPE) W+D1+T1+P1

Piping Code: B31.3 = B31.3 -2006, May 31, 2007

NO CODE STRESS CHECK PROCESSED: LOADCASE 1 (OPE) W+D1+T1+P1

Highest Stresses: (kg./sq.cm.) LOADCASE 1 (OPE) W+D1+T1+P1
OPE Stress Ratio (%): 0.0 @Node 185
OPE Stress: 921.1 Allowable: 0.0
Axial Stress: 90.5 @Node 20
Bending Stress: 848.6 @Node 185
Torsion Stress: 180.3 @Node 385
Hoop Stress: 184.2 @Node 3070
3D Max Intensity: 1193.6 @Node 185

I want to know why it shows allowable 0.0 and code stress ration 0.0?

Go back to the "CAESAR II Topic List" in this Forum, and read the "sticky topic" titled "Allowable Stress".
