With the kind help from Loren and Richard we can now search the forum more effectively. Thanks.

Note, you must be logged in to use the "Search" facility.

Forum is running on MySQL. Following syntax works:

Use +keyword for required keywords.
Use -keyword to exclude posts with a keyword.
Use quotes around a phrase to search for a phrase. Use spaces around the word to match the exact word. Example " word " (exclude quotas here)

You can combine the above into one search:
+ASME -Friction "My phrase"

I tried to use LIKE and wild character %, which are in MySQL. I could not get them to work.
