This topic is related to the interface and I am not sure if it belongs to CADWorx or CAESAR II forum (probably both)?

Whenever we try to use the “System In” command in CADWorx/Pipe to import a CAESAR II Version 4.4 file, which has been previously created in CADWorx/Pipe, exported to CAESAR II via “System Out” command, checked and successfully run, the following message occurs:

"Error reading in the requested CAESAR II input(._A)file. This may indicate a corrupted input file."

However, if we export the file using “System Out” command, open it in CAESAR II but do not modify anything, then import it using “System In”, everything works fine.

We have tried this on a number of files and directories confirming that files are not getting corrupted. The conclusion we came to is that the problem becomes evident only if the files are previously run in CAESAR II and then tried for import back into CADWorx/Pipe for further modifications.

The problem you are having is possibly a problem which we have already fixed and will be available in the next build update of CADWorx PIPE (around July 30). Although, it does not indicate an error reading the A file - it causes an un-handled exception. If you will report this problem to cadworx@coade.com by sending one of your A files, they will test it and then send you a new bi-directional which should fix the problem.
