Equipment Modeling - 12/04/06 10:40 PM

Hi, i am a new user for CAESAR II
I wanna know how to model the static and rotary equipments
some of them should be modeled as rigid and for others only the nozzles should be declared as anchor+discpl.
which equipments should be rigid and which anchor+dis.???

you can consider all equipments as rigid.
when you have settlement you shoul put displacement and in foundation you should see anchor.
actually for most things you can choose more than 1 way also you can calculate by hand!
but the most important things is that you know the relation between stress and material.

1) Start c2
2) Go to [File\Open]
3) At the bottom, use the drop list to change the file type to "_A, pre 5.00"
4) Browse for "sample._A"
5) Click [Open]
