Slug Density

Hello fellow stressers!!

What density do you consider in slug force calculation? Liquid density? or Mixed-Phase density?

I would require a compelling reason, backed up with calculations, to switch from liquid to mixed-phase density of my own volition.

E.G. if the fluid were an engineered foam that could survive the trip.
