Pressure Balanced EJ Modelling

Would you please tell me if I can model a pressure balanced expansion joint simply as a single below without effective ID with equivalent stiffness and weight?

If the manufacturer tells you the entire thing can be treated as a singular expansion joint with a specified stiffness for a given range of displacements, and you validate you do not exceed those limits, then sure.

If not, then no.
