0 Weight rigid elements

0 Weight rigid elements - 06/02/22 08:28 AM

One thing I'm seeing lately are very thick geometry for 0 weight rigid elements.

I see the change list reports something similar, and I'm wondering if this is a result of that change.

Is there a way for the user to modify the apparent diameter of rigid elements so that it doesn't get in the way?

Thanks

Hello,

You can put all these elements in to same line. And then hide this line number. All these elements will be hided.

Danb,

I've conferred with a colleague who says this happened a time or twice in the past to him - he's never used v12 before. I'm presently using v12 and have never seen this before v12 (which mine is the unpatched version), but have now encountered it from someone else's file, as well as one that I've generated.

Pavel,

Thanks. While it's not an ideal solution, it may be the current best one if it gets too obtrusive. I was hoping not to have to do that, because it adds steps to create or update, and confusion if you don't think to go check to see if things are hidden inside the model.

The problem was addressed in the past. It was fixed in version 11 but seems to be again.
who knows...
