I want to post a query related t pipeline stress analysis but the following message is appearing:

We encountered a problem. The reason reported was
Database error only visible to forum administrators

What to do?

it's about huge lateral displacement at bend in aboveground pipeline analysis.

large lateral displacement at bend due to axial compression force.

Submit the model to SmartSupport for analysis.

To avoid that database error, just try to clean type the text. As I've seen, trying to copy-paste a text (even from a text file, regardless the font or encoding as ANSI, Unicode or UTF-8) ends with a database error.

It doesn't seems any database error. To me it seems, when the pipe expands, and the bend angle is very small, there is not enough space and the resultant force is pushing the bend away. I was wondering if there is any setting in Caesar config file to stop this?

Rajeev,

Mariog was referring to your difficulty posting in this Forum - the database error. This occasionally happens to a few people, hence the suggestion to use only plain text in the post.

As to your "large displacement" issue, there is no configuration option that would cause (or resolve) this. Have you submitted your model to Tech Support as I suggested?

Caesar cannot evaluate buckling, but anytime when will be a small change in direction, considerable axial force and no lateral supports will be "lateral" displacement as well. How much- it depends on your input figures.
