extract material list with "caesar" number for material

I need to extract all the material list (with the number) of caesar (the list that appears when you click on "material" in input windows) in a text file.
something as

1- A106GrB
2- B53
3-...

the number must be the same of the caesar list.
i need to know the number associated to every caesar material so to map them in a 3D software, so to extract .cii files having corresponding materials.

There is no built-in facility to produce the list you want. One way you could obtain this information would be to:

- invoke the Material Database Editor
- from the menu select \File\Print All Materials
- change the output device from "Printer" to some sort of file (the options here will depend on your particular system - a text file would be the best)
- once you have the output file you could import it into Excel (depending on the format) and write a macro to dump everything but the line with the material name

NOTE: Do not print to a printer, this will be about 1400 pages - you probably don't want that to happen.

Set the scale to 1/1400 font and you should be fine.
