Modal Analysis - Natural Frequency Results query

I have query regarding the intermediate node break between supports in C2 file for Continuous support span for modal analysis.

Is it mandatory to break the intermediate node between supports for accurate prediction of natural frequency in Continuous support span?

Mandatory - no. Good Practice - yes.

Run the model both ways and compare the frequencies and mode shapes.

I have Run both the model for Modal analysis.

Result are different.

Natural Frequency is less when I break intermediate nodes.

Which one I need to follow.

I would use the model with the finer mesh (more node points).
