New Licensing System PROBLEM

New Licensing System PROBLEM - 02/16/20 02:54 AM

I'm running both Caesar II and PV-Elite on my computer.
After updating to PV-Elite 2020 and the New Licensing System the old licensing system (SPLM) was disable, therefore, i can't run Caesar II on my computer.
Is there a solution or do i need to wait to Caesar II 2020 ?
In the meanwhile, i installed Caesar II 2019 on another computer, so i have 2 computers (NOT THE BEST/IDEAL SOLUTION !!!)
ANY HELP WILL BE APPRECIATE.

c2 2019 should be able to run using the new licensing client - this is something we tested. For us to chase this further, please open an SR on SmartSupport. We will need to know your company name and site ID.

The problem is that in order to install the New Licensing System "INTERGRAPH SMART LICENSING" program we must delete the old one (splm) which controls the CAESAR II license sever (they cannot both be installed simultaneously )

This is true (the ISL client disables the SPLM client). However, the ISL client is backwards compatible with software built with SPLM. You should be able to run any earlier version of c2, all the way back to v.5.31 in 2011. (We've tested this here.)

If this is not the case for you, please open an SR on Smart Support so that the Tech Support group can investigate this in detail.

c2 v.12 will be built with the ISL libraries and this version will be available before the end of May 2020.
