GRP system

Hello stressers,

I have an question, if I have GRP pipe with ambient temperature and the owner want to perform stress analysis for this pipe and the supplier of GRP don't have Caesar II program and the supplier want to analysis this GRP system on SAP program as finite element analysis and the supplier claim the he can perform all required load cases on SAP and he do that in a lot of previous projects.

If we accept that, is the right?

The supplier should provide adequate proof that the program they're recommending is adequate.

They claim that they use this method in lots of previous projects and code refer to asme 8 division 2 design by analysis and they can perform all load cases we need
