CAESAR 2019 & Printing Bugs - 08/22/19 01:55 PM

The Capture.png should tell you what I'm expecting to occur. Note that I am using Eras ITC font (because its 6s, 8s, and 9s are more distinctive than Arial).

Printing via Adobe XI Standard results in the Adobe_Print.pdf.
Printing via CutePDF does the same.
Printing via KONICA MINOLTA C658SeriesPS results in Printer_Scan.pdf.

In no way can I seem to enable color printing.
In each case the font becomes super tiny.

I note that when I change the font back to Arial, the valves come back, but it's still grayscale.

Save as graphics image is an inferior choice, as there's no control over the quantity of pixels and aspect ratio. I end up opening the tiff into Inkscape, saving as pdf, opening in another application, changing aspect ratio to fit standard page size. It's a mess.

Any ideas what I can do to correct the issue?

Thanks

I don't seem to have that issue in my quick test on C2 2019. See the attached pdf and .C2 file.

My settings:
Printer Name: Microsoft Print to PDF (I also tried Nuance PDF printer, same result)
Configuration Editor>Graphic Settings:
  • Force Black and White Printing: False
  • Node Text: Eras Medium ITC, 36pt
  • Output Text: Eras Medium ITC, 36pt

Thanks for that reminder for the force B&W. I forgot about that feature.

Evidently either a restart of the software or changing that setting (or a combination of the 2) cleared up the tiny font issue and disappearing/reappearing valves.
