A691 3Cr Modulus of Elasticity

Dear Moderators,

I think, in CAESAR II material database(ver. 2017), modulus of elasticity for A691 3Cr does not match the values in ASME B31.3 TableC-6. In 70 'F,for example, code value is 30.6 Msi but database value is about 29.7 Msi. It seems database values correspond to those for lower chromium levels(cr 1/2% to 2%).

Thank you for the information. It seems our database has incorrect values for that material and piping code.

I have filed this in our development backlog.

For now, you should use the code specified value.
