PREPIP.exe error - 12/05/01 11:08 AM

I am working on fixing a PC that gets a Dr. Watson PREPIP.exe memory error that goes into a microsoft visual C++ error. I have no idea how to use this software or how to fix it. The problem occurs when trying to plot 3D drawings.

I presume by "3D Drawings", you mean the "3D Hoops" graphics?

Please advise what version of CAESAR II and what build you are using. If you have Version 4.30, ensure you have the build of October 26th (011026) installed.

In general there are three possible solutions to problems with the Hoops graphics:
 • Try switching from the OPENGL drivers to the Microsoft drivers. This can be done from the Configuration module, via a checkbox on the "Plot Colors" tab.
 • From "control panel\display\settings", change your color depth.
 • Go to the web site for your graphics board vendor and ensure you have their latest device driver.

If you continue to have problems, e-mail specific details to dlittle@coade.com.
