Load case editor error

Load case editor error - 12/14/17 05:31 AM

Hi,

I am facing a problem with CAESARII 2016, Version 8, Build 150930.

I have to use some multiplication factors to certain loads in my loadcases. For Example: 0.01D1, 0.5U2, 0.872U1 etc

However, when I feed these loadcases (with factors) on loadcase editor of CII and run the file, I see all loadcase factors changed in output.

I repeated this for couple of times and the problem still persists.
I cannot avoid these factors because of my job complication.
Could anybody let me know how to solve this.

Regards,
Vikas S

You are running the original release of CAESAR II 2016. The error you have was addressed in a "hot fix". That correction is available for download from our SmartSupport web site. Go to View Downloads - CAESAR II - Service Packs and Fixes - Previous Service Packs and Fixes - CAESAR II 2016. From there, download CAESARII 2016 Hot Fix Pack (08.00.00.5604) (CAESARII_2016_IR_HF_Pack (08.00.00.5604).zip)

Or just upgrade to a newer version of CAESAR II.

To add to Dave's response, if you have registered on Smart Support, you will receive notification anytime a Hot Fix or Service Pack is released. If haven't registered yet, you really should consider this.
