Hello stressers
I have an question when I dealing with EJ in cryonic system (the expansion joint will contraction) , Is there any thrust force exist or not ?

Thrust force will make its appearance due to pressure. Whether this contradicts the contraction (i.e. have a net positive expansion or net negative contraction) will depend on lengths of pipe around the EJ, the temperature, and the support layout.
