Dear All,
In latest code 1893_4_2015 regarding seismic zone Z factor says, " These zone factors are for 5 percent damping. for other damping ratios use multiplying factors as given in table 15." Please find the attachment for ref.
Generally we will use multiplying factor for sa/g to get the value for other than 5% damping.
Whether we have to use multiplying factor for Z factor also or not??
