Shortcuts for Non-English units - 10/15/06 09:00 PM

G'day again folks!
Just a question during input. Am I able to just enter S, XS,XXS in the schedule of each element as well as just put 200mm and get the correct dimension when using the metric system? Is there an easier way around this?
Thanking you all!!!

Yes, you should be able to enter "schedules".

Check! THe schedule works but only if you enter the correct (non-nominal) pipe size. Is there a way to input say 200mm and get the actual outside diameter to just pop up... jusl like when you enter 8" in imperial units?

The "name" of that pipe is 8 inch while it's measured diameter is 8.625 inches or 219.075 mm. (I'm assuming you are pointing to the [default] ANSI specification.)

That 8 works in all units.
