Relief Valve Synthesis

Hello all,

Could someone please advise me what formulae are used by C2's "Relief Valve Synthesis" in calculating the thrust force at the end of RV exit piping for a closed relief system?

I noticed that the RV exit piping thrust force as calculated by "Relief Valve Synthesis" is more than 5 times of RV manufacturer's estimated RV thrust force. Does it make sense?
