Reading surge analysis report

It is really appreciate if someone can help to point out how to read surge analysis report from piping stress view point. I can understand basic concepts and equations, however for detail execution from reading the report to define unbalance forces into CII for a static analysis (not dynamic analysis) I have never done this kind of activity before.
