Importing PCF - SIF Error

Importing PCF - SIF Error - 08/12/15 01:59 PM

Dear all,

I am using a macro on PDMS to export PCF file to be imported on CAESAR II (v7.00).

I am having some problems to import unreinforced or reinforced intersections. CAESAR II uses the SKEY (Symbol Key) to read the SIF type.

According to PDMS manual
Unreinforced Tee - SKEY = TESO
Reinforced Tee - SKEY = TERF

However, when I try to import the PCF file, CAESAR is switching the SIF definition. When I use TESO it interprets as Reinforced Tee and vice-versa.

Reading the CAESAR II User's Guide, on page 1149 (PCF Stress Intensification Factor Mapping), supposedly exists a file on CAESAR II Installation Directory named PCF_SIF_MAP.TXT where I can set the SKEY / SIF relation to be imported by CAESAR. But I can not find this file neither any similar one.

Can anyone help me to fix this bug?

Thank you for your help alerady.

The PCF mapping files are located in the \System directory (under "\Program Data".

If you can't resolve the issue, open a Support Request on Smart Support and send in the PCF file.

Thank you very much Richard, it is working perfectly now.

I could not find the file here, I thought it was in CAESAR II directory in \Program Files.

Thank you again.
