Fatal error at reading a pcf-file - 11/17/14 06:53 AM

Dear,

When Caesar II is trying to read a pcf-file coming from an Autodesk Plant3D model it is showing no warnings what so ever.
My screen it's just turning into a state of fatal error.

What to do?
How to change the pcf-file so that it is working.
I need the 36 attributes for the filling my right under corner of my isometric drawing.

The pcf-file is attached as a word-file to this post.

best regards,

I converted the PCF into C2 input. I din't get any error when opening the model. But when I ran an analysis, I got Fatal Error 257, stating that this model is almost numerically singular. Was that the error that you got?
I just added a guide somewhere in the model, and it would run successfully.

Mient, open a Support Request on Smart Support and send in your PCF file. Also include details as to exactly what version and build of c2 you're running.

Error 257 means your model has rigid body motion. Look for that. Maybe your guide solved the numerical problem, but why was it a problem in the first place. Usually this means a modeling error.

Dear,

How did you converted the PCF-file into a C2 input?
I did get any error messages.
How did you know to look for a wrong guide input?

Best regards,
