CAESAR II 2013 "CAESAR II Application has stopped working"

Hi guys,
i need advice from you guys on Caesar II 2013 R1 run time error. Application closes when the CII system is ran for error checker during analysis. The problem exists since the application is installed (couple of weeks ago), however now it is occurring frequently.

here is the specification of my workstation:
OS: Microsoft Windows 7 Enterprise (x64) SP1
Manufacturer: Hewlett-Packard
Model: HP Z220 SFF Workstation
Memory: 8.0 GB
Processor: 1 * Intel Core i5-3570 CPU @ 3.40GHz

Here are a couple of things to try/do:

1) Make sure you have the latest video driver for your graphics board installed. Get it from the vendors website.

2) Does this happen on different jobs?

3) If the video driver doesn't resolve the issue, open a Support Request on eCustomer. We'll have to remote into your machine to see what's up.

judging from your username, we may be working in the same office. I have been testing CAESAR 6.1 on my machine. I encountered a similar error and in my case, I've found out why. Give me a call at extension 4744.

Can you tell me what will be the issue? I am having the same issue

I experienced the same symptoms. It appeared that there is a max limit on filepath (including file name) of 128 characters. When I exceeded this limit, the error checker would grind to a halt, without an informative error message. Moving the file to shorten the filepath made it run without problems.

We have addressed many of these issues in the service packs for Caesar II 2013 R1 (6.10) version. Make sure you get the latest. We are addressing other long file path issues as well.
