You can make any of your case as frictionless by just defining friction multiplier as zero in your load case editor..

Or do you intend to know some thing else??

Will you explain it little more

means What's the benifit of frictionless case?
Why we should do this things?

I can just say, that friction less case is the one which the plant is going to see once it reaches steady state condition & it is going to be there for the major part of the plant of the life.

We don't analyse for advantages or disadvantages but what can actually happen to the pipe!!
