Running Batch Files - 03/14/06 05:38 PM

David Little,
I have checked the server permissions and I have full permissions on both local and network drives. When I run batch files on local drive 100% effective. When I run same batch files on network drive it fails majority of the time. After running batch files on my drive it seems to run ok on the network. Any suggestions would be appreciated.Using the 60301 build of CaesarII

I had addressed the post to David Little because we have been dicussing this problem. It is a problem, now when I do the files on my drive then move it to server it says missing_r file and will not run batch file. How do I know if the files are any good on server. I cant afford to store on my drive and I cant take a chance on them being corrupted. Any suggestions are welcome. The server has given me full permission.
I understand how the files expand and contract. We have a 1gig line and I have full permission. We do not know what else to look for.

Jim,

It might be better - and more timely - if you email me directly at dlittle-at-coade.com.

I still believe you have a permissions problem, but I'm still researching. I sent the latest "clue" to your IT guy last night, hopefully we can get this ActiveDirectory problem solved soon.
